A story about Nap Time
for your 5th Grader.

Zigzag Zander had always been a puzzle fanatic, and that day, he wandered deeper into the enchanted forest. Beyond the thick tree trunks, he spotted something astonishing: a shimmering castle that sparkled under the bright sun.

Ember Flare fluttered her wings in the warm daylight, circling the castle's towering walls. Her eyes glowed with excitement, for she had never seen a building so dazzling.

Massive, intricately carved gates stood at the entrance, each swirling design hinting at a hidden clue. Faint whispers seemed to float on the breeze, as though the castle longed to share its secrets.

Zigzag Zander pressed his ear to the gate, listening for any sign of what lay beyond. He heard a soft voice, almost like a lullaby, urging him to find a peaceful place to rest.

Ember Flare examined a dusty inscription carved just above the archway. The words warned travelers: “A weary mind cannot crack riddles, so close your eyes in daylight’s glow.”

Inside the grand foyer, a plush ottoman floated above polished marble tiles. Its delicate cushions drifted like clouds, inviting any passerby to settle into soft slumber.

Zigzag Zander stepped carefully across the hall, feeling a soothing warmth flow through him. He remembered that sometimes, even a short nap could refresh his mind and spark new puzzle ideas.

Ember Flare let out a small yawn, realizing she, too, was a bit sleepy. She recalled that brief rests could restore her energy, allowing her to fly even farther and explore new wonders.
