A story about Nap Time
for your 2nd Grader.

Zigzag Zander woke up in the misty forest feeling bouncy and brave. He loved searching for hidden treasures, so when the morning sun peeked through the tall trees, he set out to explore.

His eyes lit up when he found a strange, puffy map shaped like a pillow. It felt soft in his hands, like a cloud waiting to be hugged.

Ember Flare swooped down, laughing with delight. She loved new discoveries more than anything and was ready for another grand search.

Zigzag Zander traced the winding paths on the pillow map. He noticed tiny arrows leading to a place called The Restful Glade, but he couldn't see the end of the maze.

A curious stone archway stood at the maze's entrance. It glowed like a nightlight in the early morning, inviting them inside.

Ember Flare flew through the archway first, feeling a tickle of excitement. She flapped her wings slowly, following the twisting turns of the forest maze.

Zigzag Zander hurried behind, yawning just a bit. He remembered that even brave explorers need rest sometimes, so he slowed down to save his energy.

At a bend in the path, they found a shimmering doorknob hanging in midair. Turning it opened a hidden gate to the deepest part of the maze.
