A story about Love
for your 4th Grader.

King Doodle Bum soared across Gumdrop Bridge, giggling as he plucked handfuls of rainbow candy from the shimmering trees. Surrounded by a kingdom where chocolate rivers bubbled merrily, he loved to explore every sweet spot he could find.

Zibloo, a bright green alien from a distant galaxy, waddled by his side. Zibloo couldn’t stop staring at the sky, hoping to spot new constellations with every step.

High in the palace tower, a gigantic chocolate clock chimed, reminding everyone that an important gathering with neighboring kingdoms would begin in one hour. Its deep gong rattled through the sugary streets.

King Doodle Bum was supposed to lead the meeting, yet he kept sampling fudge along the river’s edge. Sometimes, it’s wise to set a reminder or ask a friend to help you remember, but he popped truffles into his mouth, forgetting the time with every sweet bite.

Meanwhile, Zibloo believed the meeting was about inventing new chocolate wonders. Determined to impress everyone, the silly alien used star power from his spaceship to build an enormous chocolate fountain that sparkled.

King Doodle Bum finally remembered the gathering, but he got distracted again when he saw how colossal the chocolate fountain had become. His eyes widened, and he licked his lips in wonder.

As the rulers from neighboring kingdoms arrived, they looked at their empty seats and began to grumble. Zibloo glanced at the frowning leaders, feeling a flicker of worry in his antennas.

Beside the grand doorway stood a shimmering candy cane lamp post, its stripes glowing pink and white. It lit up the hall brightly, even as tensions began to rise.
