Queen Neena's Apology Garden

A story about How to Say Sorry

for your 2nd Grader.

Queen Neena stands near a window in her pink pajamas. In the background the tall stone walls are decorated with vines.

Queen Neena woke up to the warm sun shining through her tall castle windows. She jumped out of bed, feeling excited for a day of exploring the colorful garden.

Blossom Sprout waves gently, his leaves rustling. In the background the bright garden paths twist around flowerbeds.

Blossom Sprout, a friendly plant monster, greeted her with a happy wave. He loved to check on the flowers every morning.

A cluster of golden daisies bloom. In the background the castle's tall spires shimmer.

They headed outside and saw a row of golden daisies dancing in the breeze. Queen Neena smiled at how bright they looked against the green grass.

Queen Neena presses her hands over her mouth in surprise. In the background the damaged daisies lie scattered on the ground.

While playing hide-and-seek, Queen Neena raced around a corner. She and Blossom Sprout accidentally stepped on the daisies, crushing their soft petals.

Mrs. Petal kneels beside the crushed flowers. In the background the garden soil is dotted with fallen petals.

The garden caretaker, Mrs. Petal, saw what happened. She frowned and gently touched the broken stems, looking truly sad.

Queen Neena bows her head sadly. In the background the bright sky seems dim.

Queen Neena felt her cheeks grow hot. She whispered, “I didn’t mean to ruin them. I’m so sorry.”

Blossom Sprout holds a small shovel with a determined look. In the background patches of earth are ready for seeds.

Blossom Sprout touched Queen Neena’s arm. “Let’s fix this together,” he said. “We can plant new daisies and show Mrs. Petal we truly apologize.”

A row of watering cans awaits the fresh seeds. In the background the grass sparkles with morning dew.

They gathered tiny daisy seeds and some gentle watering cans. Their plan was to bring the patch of flowers back to life.
