Queen Neena and the Shining Star

Queen Neena sits in her garden. She looks at pink and yellow flowers. She feels happy and safe.
The flowers glow under the big blue sky. Shiny stars twinkle high above.
Queen Neena spots a new, bright star. She says, “Oh, who are you, little star?”
Queen Neena feels her heart flutter. She wonders about the sky. She whispers, “I want to learn all about you.”
A soft, fuzzy blanket rests on a wooden bench. It looks warm and snug.
Queen Neena reaches for her blanket. She feels a little scared of the dark. “I will be brave,” she says.
Queen Neena wraps the blanket around her. She breathes slowly. She knows deep breaths can help when scared.
The bright star glows brighter still. It looks cheerful. It seems to say, “Wish on me!”
