for your 1st Grader.

In the morning, Princess Zoombella steps outside into the royal garden. The air smells like sweet roses and shining dew. She waves at the bright butterflies dancing around her. Today feels new, but a little different in her heart.

Blinky Sparx stands nearby with big, curious eyes. He loves to solve tricky puzzles and wonders why Zoombella feels sad. He thinks about ways to cheer her up, like drawing pictures or telling funny jokes.

Across the garden, a rainbow of butterflies rests on bright blooms. Their wings flutter gently, creating soft whispers in the air. Zoombella smiles at their colors, but a small tear still forms in her eye.

Princess Zoombella sighs and sits on a soft patch of grass. She shares with Blinky how her parents now live in different castles. Sometimes, Zoombella worries that things will never be the same.

Blinky Sparx gently hums a tune and hands Zoombella a small puzzle piece. He reminds her that feelings can be puzzling. When something feels too big, it's okay to talk to someone and share what’s in your heart.

They find all the puzzle pieces scattered around the garden paths. There is a piece shaped like a leaf, one shaped like a star, and another shaped like a tiny heart. Each piece gleams with hope.

Princess Zoombella collects the pieces and places them in a small basket. She thinks about her parents. Their castles may be apart, but the love she feels can still fit together, just like a puzzle.

Blinky Sparx smiles and points to an empty space in the puzzle. He remembers how families can change, but people can still love each other. He quietly shows Zoombella the missing piece.
