Under the silver glow of the crescent moon, the trees in the forest shimmered as if dusted with tiny stars. Every leaf seemed alive with gentle light, and in the middle of it all stood Luna Lighthug. She gazed up at the shining sky, her heart dancing with excitement.

A little farther down the winding trail, a purple warthog wiggled his snout with joy. His playful humming echoed in the stillness, and he thought of a funny riddle to share if he ever caught up with his friend.

Moonlight glimmered upon a smooth rock, where a shiny golden apple rested quietly. Even in the faint light, its surface gleamed with a magical glow that promised something extraordinary.

Luna bent down and carefully picked up the apple, feeling its warmth against her cold fingers. Her heart thumped as she remembered an old story: whoever held this golden fruit could make one mighty wish come true.

Brutus hopped beside the glittering fruit, joking that it must taste sweeter than candy. He tapped one hoof against the forest floor, grinning so wide his tusks glowed in the moonlight.

A pale lantern, hidden in a hollow stump, flickered faintly. Its light seemed to tremble as a rustle moved through the distant bushes, hinting that some enchantment lurked just out of sight.

Luna clutched the apple, her long cape swirling around her feet. Though her curiosity sang, she felt a tiny pang of doubt. She remembered a wise tip: before deciding on a wish, take a slow breath to think about its cost.

Brutus snorted softly, sensing her worry. He told a silly joke about a raccoon who tried to eat the moon, hoping to cheer her up. He reminded her that it’s always good to talk about fears with a friend.
