A story about Respect
for your Kindergartener.

Once upon a time, in a lively neighborhood, there lived an affectionate cat named Luna. Luna loved the quaint park with its symphony of bells. Her favorite was a shiny silver bell that jingled with the sweetest sound.

One sunny afternoon, Buster, the mischievous dog, saw Luna playing with her bell. 'Luna, let's play fetch!' he barked. But Luna didn't want to play fetch, she wanted to play with her bell.

Buster felt ignored and, in a huff, he snatched Luna's bell and ran off. Luna was shocked! She wanted her bell back but didn't know how to ask politely.

Luna decided to seek help from her friends. First, she went to see Benny, the wise old owl. 'Benny, Buster took my bell because I wouldn't play fetch with him. How do I get it back?' Luna asked impatiently.

'Patience, Luna,' Benny advised. 'Remember to ask politely and treat others with respect.' Luna nodded, though she was eager to get her bell back.

Next, Luna visited Daisy, the cheerful rabbit. 'Daisy, can you help me get my bell back from Buster?' Luna asked, forgetting to say please. Daisy reminded Luna to use her manners.

Luna thanked Daisy and went to find Buster. She found him in the park, still with her bell. 'Buster, may I please have my bell back?' Luna asked politely.

Buster looked surprised. 'Why should I give it back?' he asked. Luna remembered Benny's advice. 'Because it's important to respect others and their belongings,' she replied.
