A story about Getting a New Sister
for your Kindergartener.

Under the shimmering moon, Luna Lighthug sat on a snowy rooftop. She wore her sparkly vampire cape and gazed at the twinkling stars. She felt excited but also a little nervous—her new baby sister would arrive soon!

All around, little lights glowed like tiny moons on tall lampposts. The gentle shimmer reminded Luna that the new baby would bring bright changes. She thought about ways to help her sister feel cozy in her new home.

Suddenly, Frostyline Fable the friendly Snowman hopped into sight. He had a carrot nose that twitched with excitement. He loved exploring and wanted to help Luna with her grand idea!

“I want to build a glowing moon cradle for my sister,” said Luna. She imagined a soft bed shaped like a crescent moon, shining gently by her family’s window. This special cradle would welcome the baby warmly.

They gathered sparkly fabric and smooth ribbon to make the moon cradle glow. The fabric shimmered in the moonlight, almost humming with magic. Luna smiled, thinking how the baby would feel snug and loved.

Frostyline gently patted the ribbons into place with his soft twig arms. He could not wait to see the cradle sparkle. “This is going to be amazing!” he chattered, sending snowflakes flying.

Luna tied the last knot, remembering what her parents said: love makes a family grow. She whispered, “I hope my baby sister likes the moon cradle.” She knew being a big sister meant giving gentle hugs and sweet smiles.

At last, the cradle was ready: a gleaming arc of moonlight draped in silver fabric. Tiny stars danced along its edges, glowing with each frosty breeze. The cradle felt magical enough to cradle a dream.
