Dreamy Puzzles in Snooze Valley

A story about Nap Time
for your 1st Grader.
Zigzag Zander was a quirky Zombie who loved puzzles. He lived in a wide, peaceful valley where dreams danced like ribbons.
One day, his sparkly, joyful Ghost friend, Glimmer Puff, floated by. “Let’s visit Snooze Valley and look for dreamy challenges!” she said.
They walked over a soft meadow. They saw shiny puzzle pieces resting in the tall grass.
Zigzag Zander picked up a piece. “I wonder what picture we will make,” he said, tapping his chin.
Glimmer Puff spun in circles. “This is so exciting! Maybe the puzzle will show us something magical!” she chimed.
Before long, Zigzag Zander found many puzzle pieces. He yawned, but he did not want to stop having fun.
They kept searching, but the puzzle was tricky. One piece showed a fluffy pillow, soft and perfect for rest.
Glimmer Puff floated closer. “Zigzag, let’s take a short nap. Naps help our minds and bodies rest, so we can play again!” she said.
