Diego's Big Heart

A story about Love
for your Baby.

Once upon a time, in a friendly neighborhood, lived an outgoing boy named Diego. Diego loved soccer more than anything. He would play all day, his laughter echoing through the park.

One sunny day, Diego noticed a moving truck outside a house. A new family was moving in. Among them was a little girl who seemed shy and lonely.

Diego felt a tug at his heart. He wanted to make the little girl feel loved and welcomed. So, he picked up his soccer ball and walked towards her house.

"Hello! I'm Diego," he said, offering his soccer ball. But the little girl just looked at him and hid behind her mom. Diego felt a little sad but he didn't give up.

The next day, Diego saw the little girl sitting alone in the park. He walked over and sat next to her. "Would you like to play?" he asked. But again, she didn't respond.

Diego felt a bit discouraged. But he remembered what his mom always said, "Sometimes, people need time to feel comfortable. Be patient."

So, every day, Diego would smile at the little girl, wave at her, and invite her to play. Slowly, she started to smile back. One day, she even waved back.

One sunny afternoon, Diego saw the little girl looking at his soccer ball. "Would you like to play?" he asked. This time, she nodded. Diego's heart filled with joy.
