Buzzywhirl and the Big Brother Adventure

A story about Getting a New Brother

for your Kindergartener.

Buzzywhirl stands on a small hill, holding a sparkling gear in his hands. In the background, tall yellow flowers sway gently.

Buzzywhirl was a giant insect who loved the bright meadow. He tinkered with shiny gears and springs all day, humming a happy tune. Today, something special was about to happen.

Buzzywhirl leans over his tinkering table, surrounded by scraps of metal and colorful springs. In the background, rows of tiny workshop tables line the meadow.

He worked in his tiny workshop, fixing broken things and building new gadgets. Sometimes, he imagined flying machines or whirling toys that made happy sounds.

Tinkerdrop’s name appears on a sign near a soft cushion, waiting for his arrival. In the background, winding trails loop around bright clusters of flowers.

One day, Buzzywhirl heard exciting news. His baby brother, Tinkerdrop, would arrive soon! Buzzywhirl buzzed around, trying to prepare a cozy spot for him.

Buzzywhirl peeks around a corner while Tinkerdrop blinks curiously. In the background, buzzing flowers glow under a warm sun.

Then, Tinkerdrop arrived, tiny and full of wonder. Everyone in the meadow fussed over him, marveling at his fluttery wings. Buzzywhirl felt a tingle of happiness but also a pinch of worry.

A cluster of elastic leaves rests on a tinkering bench. In the background, coils of wire and loose screws lie scattered.

While Buzzywhirl worked, he noticed a pile of funny-shaped leaves that bounced when poked. He got an idea for a fun new gadget, but he wasn’t sure if Tinkerdrop would like it.

Buzzywhirl scratches his head, looking at the bouncing leaves. In the background, gentle trails weave through the meadow.

Buzzywhirl sighed, “I want to share my tinkering space, but I also want it to stay mine.” He thought, maybe he could make something special for both of them.

Tinkerdrop tilts his head, watching as Buzzywhirl holds up a leafy design. In the background, a few colorful flower stems stretch tall.

Tinkerdrop cooed, “Goo-goo?” Buzzywhirl smiled. “Don’t worry,” he said. “I’ll build a leaf swing for us! We can share and still have fun!”

Buzzywhirl hunches over his broken swing, holding a tiny hammer. In the background, winding trails curve behind a row of worktables.

Buzzywhirl started hammering and clicking pieces together. But his first swing snapped with a sudden “CRACK!” He frowned and said, “I’ll try again.”
